Day 7

Day 7 saw abysmal weather in the form of heavy rain, preventing us from jogging on the beach. On the way back the sun typically made an appearance so plan 'B' was to go to the local park for a jog. There were clear pathways in which to jog on, though a distinct lack of markers as seen on the beach which help us stop/start at consistent intervals. While AK and Dave ran off in a sort of race, I followed my own path in the opposite direction keeping a good pace going, together with the usual stopping/starting. After twenty minutes I decide to look for AK and Dave and eventually catch up with them. Overall the experience didn't feel as effective as jogging on the beach. This is definitely the first and hopefully the only time weather has beaten us (despite extensive planning) causing us to instigate plan 'B'.

Notes: No Chris for the first time since Day 1. Dave joins us for the first time. Also, the first time we've jogged somewhere other than the beach. No picture taken at end, sparking debate about whether it was a 'true jlog event'.

Weather Conditions: Heavy rain and cold, followed by brighter and drier spells

*** It is still being debated whether this jog is eligible for inclusion in this jlog—due to different surroundings, lack of 'togetherness' and most of all, no "picture of proof" was taken at the end of the run. ***
